BOMA International Names Zoccola Chairman

The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International has recently named Boyd R. Zoccola as its Chair and Chief Elected Officer. Zoccola, who has worked as a commercial real estate owner, operator, and developer for over 20 years, has been executive vice president of Hokanson Companies Inc. since 1989. He has devoted most of his time to development while at the company, overseeing more than $400 million in commercial real estate transactions.

Zoccola, who has worked as a commercial real estate owner, operator, and developer for over 20 years, has been executive vice president of Hokanson Companies Inc. since 1989. He has devoted most of his time to development while at the company, overseeing more than $400 million in commercial real estate transactions.

Zoccola was sworn in as Chair and Chief Elected Officer at the 2011 BOMA International Conference and The Every Building Show in Washington, D.C. He has been involved with BOMA, both at the international and local levels, for several years, serving on the BOMA International Executive Committee for four years and the Finance Committee for six years, and as president of BOMA/Indianapolis from 2007-2009. He has also been an active member in BOMA's Medical Office Buildings Committee.

BOMA International, founded in 1907, is an international federation of more than 100 local commercial real estate associations and affiliated organizations. Its 16,500-plus members currently own or manage more than 9 billion square feet of commercial properties.
